open gyms
As we continue to contribute to the fight against COVID-19 by adhering to local, state, and national guidelines regarding social distancing and mass gatherings, we do not have summer open gyms or other group volleyball activities planned right now. As we receive updated information regarding COVID-19 restrictions, we will keep our volleyball families informed. As soon as we are cleared and are safe to resume play, we will begin holding small group trainings and open gyms. For now, here is the information for August, so that you can get our popular camps on your calendar as well as start dates for fall teams!
NOW: BINGO
We've replaced Open Gyms with a fun BINGO game. The Bingo Cards are attached here. Players will submit their completed BINGO cards via Google Classroom. They can register for this Google Classroom using code jkgly3r .
They must use their Corbett Student Emails to register for this classroom. Coaches will be posting updates in the Google Classroom each Sunday.
The BINGO challenge is to complete as many rows as possible. By the following Sunday, submit your BINGO board in the Google Classroom with your highlighted completed rows. For each row completed, the players name will be entered into a drawing for a prize. If you complete the whole board and get a blackout, then your name will be entered into the drawing five times. Those who submit their boards and have completed rows, will get a social media shoutout from Corbett Volleyball at the end of each week.
